It had to happen today …

Here I am complacently cool on the first really hot day 100For 37C for you Celsius folks and it happened. My AC broke down. I was having such a nice day too. The boys had gone off golfing at a tournament for the day and Cece had been up all night so she was sleeping it was like I had the house to myself … very selfish of me I know, but what can I say? So as the day heats up so does my house. This is not good … I’m sweating and all I am doing is sitting still. So I check … the bloody AC is blowing hot air! Well if I want that I may as well open the windows and let the blast furnace that is outside my house blow through at least that way I get fresh hot air not the recycled kind. So I turn off the AC and throw open the windows and low and behold the air blowing in from the out of doors is actually cooler than the temperature inside the house!! So now I sit here sweating and wondering what I am to do the rest of the summer … I think I need a job sooner rather than later this is one expense we could have done without.
